OUR STORY
My brother Ozenc and I have worked together since university. We are both passionate about the law, we enjoy legal practice and are very fortunate to have found an occupation that does not feel like work.
MCK Lawyers started after Ozenc and I managed teams of lawyers and support staff in the same firm and came to the realisation that larger firms require bureaucracy that comes at a financial cost to the client and an opportunity cost to the lawyers. This means limited involvement of senior lawyers in the day-to-day management of matters and supervision and training of junior staff. We decided that a focused boutique practice was more in line with our ideals of how we wanted to serve our clients.

In July 2009 we started MCK Lawyers as a boutique Sydney practice offering services in insurance and commercial law. Today, our insurance law practice involves acting for Australia’s largest insurance group as well as other insurers predominantly advising in relation to property damage insurance: motor, heavy vehicle, marine and business. MCK lawyers provide services in every State and Territory in Australia.
Our commercial law practice involves advising small, medium and large multinationals in a vast range of commercial disputes and transactions.
We differ significantly from large and mid-tier firms as our clients receive personalised service from experienced staff and often become long term clients, friends and part of the extended MCK family.
